So I realized that I fell slightly behind on this blog in terms of weekly posts. But then again, I just put up a whole bunch of pictures on the new Chicago page, so all that work has to count for something. Right?
This picture was taken from the Hancock Observatory in downtown Chicago. It represents the magnificent time that my family and I had at the end of our first day exploring the city. By the time we reached Hancock, hardly anyone was there. It was so quiet, and the sun was setting, lending extra beauty and serenity to the scene. Innumerable lights were coming to life all over the city. In spite of the activity we knew was happening below, all of it appeared still, with the exception of a few tiny cars moving along the streets.
